All of the trees around us are full of leaves at last (we have a couple trees that don't leaf until late spring). I love the bright greens of spring, the tinge of yellow, the translucence through the new, thin leaves. As spring turns into summer and then rounds the corner to fall the leaves grow darker and darker, a reminder of the cold that's just around the next bend...which is why I always revel in the brightness of spring!
